Care Category Definitions (Jan–June 2025)

1. Elderly Care
Support for bedridden or mobility-impaired seniors, both at home and in hospitals.
Includes adult diapers, hygiene kits, wound care supplies, mobility aids, and routine check-ins.

2. Pediatric / Children
Aid provided to infants and children with chronic illnesses, emergency medical needs, or educational support. Includes pediatric medications, AeroChambers, nutrition, school supplies, and toys.

3. Medical / Surgical Recovery
Short-term medical support for individuals recovering from surgery or living with medical complications.
Includes gauze, antiseptics, IV fluids, diabetic wound care, and assistance for post-op patients and hospital staff.

4. Low-Income / Family Support
Support to families experiencing poverty or unstable living conditions. Includes hygiene kits, food items, children’s clothing, school supplies, and vitamins.

5. Pregnancy / Women’s Health
Prenatal and postpartum care for women. Includes vitamins, sanitary products, and basic maternal health support.

6. Community-Wide Relief
Bulk aid delivered to large groups through clinics, churches, or volunteer networks. Includes distributions of acetaminophen, wound care, and hygiene items shared with 20–30+ people at a time or to institutional groups like nursing homes or rural communities.
