We were inspired by over 27 years of connections with Cuba and the support we received from Cuban friends during a family illness. The pandemic highlighted the urgent need for aid, leading to the organization's creation.

What kind of supplies do you deliver?
Our primary focus is medical supplies, but we also provide school supplies, food, and other essentials based on community needs.

How do you distribute the supplies?
Supplies are delivered via volunteers traveling to Cuba and distributed to individuals and facilities in need.

Volunteering

How can I volunteer?
Volunteers transport supplies to Cuba in suitcases, distribute supplies in Cuba or assist with pickup/delivery to our warehouse. Contact us to learn more or to sign up.

Do you provide training for volunteers?
We currently do not have formal training, but we provide guidance on delivering supplies.

Is there insurance coverage for volunteers?
We do not provide specific insurance for volunteers. Travelers should arrange their own coverage.

Suitcase Volunteers

What do the suitcases contain?
Suitcases are packed with medical supplies, including wound care items and surgical tools.

How do you manage suitcase shipments?
We pack suitcases in advance and coordinate with volunteers when they are ready to travel.

How many suitcases can I take?
This depends on the airline’s baggage policy. We’ll guide you on how to handle additional baggage.

Can I open the suitcase to inspect it?
Absolutely! We encourage this.

My friend needs a specific item that is inside the suitcase, can I give it to him?
We provide a detailed list for each suitcase in case it is inspected by customs, adding or removing items may cause delays. You can always reach out to us and we will arrange for your friend to receive the necessary supply.

What happens if my suitcase is stopped at customs?
We provide letters and detailed packing lists to ensure smooth customs processing. Volunteers rarely face issues.

Do you work with other organizations?
Yes, we collaborate with Cuban clinics, hospitals, and supporting partners to maximize our impact.
